Rock Region METRO (RRM)

Provide ongoing support of Rock Region METRO’s Safety Management System (SMS) and security-related programs and plans. Services are intended to guide various program areas addressing the requirements identified by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) in the National Public Transportation Agency Safety Program, including 49 CFR Parts 569, 670, 672, 673, and 674, as well as Transit Asset Management through 49 CFR 625/630 and Public Transportation Security identified at 49 CFR Part 1582. Program areas are based on ensuring RRM documentation fully meets all FTA and ARDOT SMS requirements within mandated deadlines:

• SMS Implementation Plan Update
• Internal Safety Management Audit (ISMA)

Provide Safety and Security Consulting Services to include developing the Agency Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), Security and Emergency Preparedness Plan (SEPP), as well as performing an agency tabletop exercise with local emergency responders:

• System Wide Threat and Vulnerability Assessment (TVA)
  
• Agency Table Top Exercise
  
• Agency Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) Development
  
• Security and Emergency Preparedness Plan (SEPP) Development.
  

Provide Safety and Security Certification support services for the 30 Crossing Project and 6th St. Streetcar Improvement Project:

• Safety Acceptance Report
• 6th Street / Streetcar Barn Improvements.
  
• TPSS Decommissioning Project Certification
  
• Phase 1 – 30 Crossing Project Certification – Temporary Use Notice (TUN) Issued
