Puerto Rico Integrated Transit Authority (PRITA)

Provide technical support for the analysis and implementation of PRITA’s/Tren Urbano Safety and Security Certification Program of the rail AFC solution, including new faregates, new fare vending machines, radio replacement, and associated safety, security, and cybersecurity concerns.

Supported the Safety and Security Certification (SSC) for the following Major Capital Projects (MCP):

• New Fare Collection System
• Major Capital Projects (MCPs)
• Radio Project Upgrade
• Generator Replacement and Upgrade Project
• Wheel Truing Equipment Upgrade
• Derailment Investigations
• Development of key agency Certification plans (SSCP, SSMP)
• Supported Major Capital Project (MCPs) meetings with safety and security support
  
• Reviewed cyber-security for the Fare Collection System
• Annual updates of PTASP and CAP log management

Provide technical engineering services to support the safe implementation of PRITA’s/Tren Urbano safety goals and objectives including, accident/incident investigation and reporting; safety construction assessments; review and revise safety policies, plans, rules, and procedures; and support management of PRITA safety programs.
