Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART)

Provide Safety and Security Certification support services for the Honolulu Rail Transit Project: a $12 billion project with a dual-track rail system that spans 20 miles, with 20 elevated rail stations and one station at-grade. The system includes a Traction Electrification System with a Traction Power Back-up Generator System and an Uninterrupted Power Supply System. The project also includes a Platform Screen Gate System to control access to rail vehicles, and a Maintenance Storage Facility with the Rail Operations Center and other maintenance facilities. The rail vehicles are fully automated (driverless), with 80 rail cars and 20 trainsets, each with a 800 passenger capacity and open gangways.
