In a momentous celebration for this small business, K&J Safety and Security Consulting Services, Inc. (K&J Consulting / K&J) broke ground on July 22, 2023, on its new corporate office space, which officially opens on Monday, December 2. We intend to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony as soon as the Certificate of Occupancy is received, marking a significant milestone in K&J’s journey as a Small Business and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.
Transitioning from a remote workspace configuration to a dedicated corporate space underscores K&J Consulting’s continued success and commitment to its clients, who have been instrumental in this journey. This new office will not only enhance the company’s ability to serve its clients more effectively but also foster a modern workspace that encourages collaboration, creativity, and innovation. As K&J looks ahead, this new office building symbolizes not only growth but also a deeper commitment to the valued client relationships that have fueled our success.
In addition to enhancing service capabilities, the new location will enable K&J Consulting to continue to attract the top talent in the industry. As the company embarks on this exciting new chapter, we eagerly anticipate welcoming our clients and interns, as well as current and future team members to our new ‘home’. K&J Consulting is committed to fostering a collaborative environment for training sessions and professional development, further strengthening the strong foundation of trust and service that defines our mission. This continued professional development commitment will now allow K&J to host onsite OSHA classes and TSI workshops in the new purpose-built corporate training space.
This journey for K&J was self-funded, allowing us to absorb the construction costs without passing them on to our clients through increased rates. This expansion has been two decades in the making for this small business, tracking back to the founding of K&J Consulting in November 2002.
