K&J was awarded an On-Call Safety and Security Services contract with Puerto Rico Integrated Transit Authority (PRITA) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for all modes of transportation, including Rail, Bus, and Maritime Operations.
K&J Consulting will be performing various safety engineering and consulting services, including:
- System Safety and Security Certification (SSC) of multiple PRITA projects
- Event Investigation and Reporting
- Analysis of all transportation infrastructure including Rail Passenger Stations, Guideway, and Ferry Terminals
- Analysis of Passenger Vehicles (Bus, Rail and Ferry)
- Construction Safety Assessments
- Hazard Analysis
- Security Assessments
- Review and Revision of Policies, Rules, and Procedures
- Development of the Safety and Security Management Plan (SSMP)
- Development of the Safety and Security Certification Plan (SSCP)
- Update of the Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP)
- Update of the System Security Plan (SSP)
- Fire Life Safety
- Safety and Security Audits and Internal Safety Reviews
- Corrective Action Plan development and tracking
- Regulatory and Oversight reporting
- Conducting Special Studies and Analysis
