K&J Safety and Security Consulting Services, Inc. was contracted with Puerto Rico Integrated Transit Authority (PRITA) to perform a Cybersecurity Assessment for PRITA Rail, and its Operator ACI-Herzog, as part of the Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA) update for Tren Urbano operations. As part of that assessment, K&J Consulting conducted IT Staff interviews, visited and observed the Data Center, and reviewed several Cybersecurity-related IT documents from ACI-Herzog to ascertain the level of maturity of the Cybersecurity Program, as well as the level of compliance with standards and guidelines. Additionally, K&J reviewed Security Plans, Policies, and Procedures and made Best-Practice Recommendations to further harden the PRITA Rail infrastructure from Cyber Attacks.
