2019
EB Broomfield and Sheridan Elevators Certification Project Activities
The project is to design, construct and install one elevator at each location along existing pedestrian bridges to comply with ADA requirements.
1: EB Broomfield and Sheridan Elevators Certification Project
- Certification training to construction PMs
- DCCC, TVA, PHA verifications for design and construction
- Construction Specification Conformance Checklist (CSCC) Verifications
- Project close out
- Issue the final Project S&S Certification Certificates and Final Verification Reports for each elevator project
2018
1: Civic Center Station Renovation Project
- Demolition of both the existing Lincoln Level and Broadway Level plazas, including the bus terminal, concourse drive, mall bus turn-around, and surrounding pedestrian walkways/stairs.
- Construction of a new bus terminal, a new bus ramp connecting Broadway and Lincoln, a new plaza of Lincoln Street, new canopy structures, and replacement of the mall bus turnaround drive and surroundings walkways.
- Issued the final Project S&S Certification Certificate and Final Verification Report
2: EB Broomfield and Sheridan Elevators Certification Project
- Final acceptance of the Safety and Security Certification Plan (SSCP)
- Final acceptance of the Threat and Vulnerability Assessment (TVA)
- Final acceptance of the Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA)
- Certification training to the designers
- DCCC, TVA, PHA verifications
- Issued a Design Certification Certificate
2017
1: Certification tasks completed:
- Construction Specification Conformance Checklists (CSCC) verification
- Support the Safety and Security Certification Working Group (SSCWG) meetings
- Issued an interim certification certificate to open the garage, bus turn around point and the upper level of the plaza area to the general public
- Developed a visual verification report
- Issued a revenue service Certification Certificate
- Issued a draft project final S&S Certification Verification Report
- Obtained signatures on all the DCCC and CSCC line items
2: EB Broomfield and Sheridan Elevators Certification Project
This project includes designing new elevators (1 each) for the EB Broomfield and Sheridan Stations. This certification effort is only for the design phase.
- Developed the draft Safety and Security Certification Plan (SSCP) for the project.
- Developed a draft Threat and Vulnerability Assessment (TVA) for both elevator locations
- Developed a draft Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) for both elevator locations
